UX audit
Product pivoting and abandoned MVP pages had littered the site with fractured experiences and inconsistent design
Challenge
While a series of MVP launches had been a useful approach to testing product ideas, the accumulation of fractured or out-of-date user experiences was impairing users’ ability to focus on what the product did well.
Hypothesis
While no specific button or form was likely to have a dramatic impact on brand perception or conversion, the accretion of dozens of these problems was creating too much friction for users.
Methodology
A Post-it and voting exercise with representatives across the organization followed by scoping and prioritizing with PMs and engineer leads.
Solution
A front-end engineer was “loaned” to the Design team to correct many issues that did not have a clear product owner.
