Initially planned as a few improvements to an existing tool, our thinking shifted as our analysis revealed how inadequate the tool was to supporting our users’ needs. A net-new product was required.

Custom benchmarking experience revised

Unique use cases and power users would likely still be attracted to the benchmarking calculation tool. With extensive usability improvements it was revised as a second-level page behind Standard Benchmarks

Challenge

How to present fund returns data from various private equity fund strategies. A tool that allowed users to compute their own returns proved unpopular.
